About Stan Halgas

I'm Stan Halgas and I am a local crafter residing in Wilbraham, MA, and have since 1967. I've had an interest in woodworking as a hobby for many years, making furniture and wood projects for my daughters and son throughout the years. I got hooked on making pens over the last year. After doing research and attending classes on pen turning, I'm now offering my high quality, unique handiwork for your enjoyment. It is a great sense of satisfaction to take a rough rectangular piece of wood or acrylic and turn it on a lathe to the finish that is on display here.
